As I reflect on my photography journey throughout 2025, it's clear that the timing of Easter created an unusual gap in my spring schedule. Charleston’s vibrant colors and blooming flowers unfortunately went less documented during this slower start to the tourist season. However, I was fortunate to capture many special birthdays amidst the blossoms, which is why I feel that Hampton Park deserves its own dedicated feature. Its unwavering beauty makes it a true gem in the Charleston area, and I’m excited to share the memorable family sessions I had the pleasure to photograph there.
This year's fall photography sessions at Hampton Park were nothing short of magical, with vibrant rose blooms lingering longer than usual due to the unseasonably mild weather. Even a late cold snap in November couldn’t dampen the park's beauty, providing stunning backdrops for family portraits.
If you're in town closer to Christmas the decoration display at the main gazebo, it's sure to make the perfect backdrop for your Christmas card!
If you're longing for golden hour, spanish moss, seasonal flowers and iconic street lights Hampton Park is always going to be my recommendation.
