I am lifestyle and portrait photographer that wants to live in a world where the coffee is always strong, the water is calm and I can see the bottom, and international flights are less than 3 hours. I guess you could say I'm a dreamer...
After graduating in 2009 with a BFA in Fine Art Photography, I tried my hand at working both with a wedding photographer and at a portrait studio because I thought, hey, what am I supposed to do with this degree I just earned? I learned a ton but worked some of the longest and most stressful hours of my life in those three years, which lead to the inevitable "burn out". It took me a little while to find my passion for shooting again and honestly what sparked that was my move to Charleston in 2014. I had been living along the east coast my whole life, and like most I got sick of the snow! I grew up just outside of DC in Maryland, got my degree in PA, and even lived in the Boston area for a few years. When I finally landed in Charleston 6 years ago I knew this is where I belong, and this was where I wanted to start my business. There is just something so magical about living in a place with so much gorgeous variety. Between the Spanish Moss and Oaks, the gorgeous beaches and our French inspired architecture downtown- I'm just in love with where I live, and it makes photographing people here so much more enjoyable.
When I'm not photographing bumps, babies, or children running wild on the beach, you would normally find me at a local brewery, a pizza shop, a Stingrays Hockey Game or down at the Joe for a Riverdogs game with family and friends. Since COVID, I've spent a lot of time at the pool, my parents pool, and reading!
LOVES: Boston Bruins, Prosecco, Espresso, Sushi, and most importantly- Good people with big hearts and a sense of humor
DISLIKES: Oysters, IPA beers, Humidity, and most importantly- the fake audience laugh they add to comedy shows
"Erin is truly incredible! She is very talented, fun to work with and pays attention to detail! We booked her for our family and 15th wedding Anniversary pictures. She captured everything we asked. Erin was wonderful with our kids and our cavalier dog. She answered all of my questions and helped me with what to wear. The pictures are breathtaking on our favorite beach, Folly during sunrise! We will always use Erin from now on and highly recommend her!"

"We booked Erin for a small wedding at the end of December 2019. One of the best choices we made for the wedding! We met up for coffee to discuss plans in the summer and then had some follow up emails. Very easy to work with with some good ideas we used to help with the wedding timeline. The pictures turned out great, we got a preview, an online album and a Facebook album."

"In honor of my moms 80th birthday, my extended family had a sunrise beach session with Erin. We were not excited about the prospect of meeting on the beach at 615 am but after seeing some of the pictures on Erin’s website we knew it would be worth it! The experience as well as the pictures were just amazing!!!" - Leslie Guglielmello
