Victoria and her daughter Brooklyn are originally from the Charleston area but currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida since Tori is in the US Coastguard. I first met them 3 summers ago in 2017 when Brooklyn was just a little one, not even a year old yet. Tori hired me for a sunset beach session on Isle of Palms with some of her other family members. I would say I'm pretty easy going anyway, but something about our personalities just clicked in a different way and we totally got each others jokes and genuinely enjoyed chatting throughout the session.

I think it's safe to say that Tori love the images, she raved and said she couldn't wait to photograph Brooklyn's birthday and every summer after.

And so began a beautiful tradition of the Mommy & Me at Sunrise.

The summer of 2018 we met at sunrise out at the Morris Island Inlet of Folly Beach, SC.

This summer, Tori and I scheduled to meet up again at sunrise. This time she chose a dress from my client closet that happened to match one of Brooklyn's just perfectly.

This tradition that has become something near and dear to me for so many reasons. I'm excited for Brooklyn to make these memories with her mom, and I'm excited that she will always have these images to keep close to her heart.
