From Bump, To Baby - The Wohnig Family

Sierra and Connor met in High School and dated off-an-on through out their young lives into their college years. Connor played Baseball in College and they tried to carry on a long distance relationship. When the two realized they were inseparable they got hitched and quickly had a baby on the way.

Sierra found me because I live close by in West Ashley and she fell in love with my maternity work. I first met the couple at their Maternity Session at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. We had spoke on the phone previous to the session discussing the many gown options and locations available on the plantation grounds. As their first child she knew she wanted it ALL. They booked Maternity, Baby Shower Coverage, Fresh 48 and a Studio Newborn. I was over the moon! It's so special to know that people trust me with such important milestones in their lives.

After the bump came the baby, the anxious awaiting of baby {S}. Luckily Sierra was scheduled for induction at 39 weeks so we had a pretty good idea of our Fresh 48 bracket. I was so so excited for them both and nervous for Sierra since it was her first. I've obviously have never had a child of my own, but I know the birth process can be loooong and exhausting. And for her, it was.

Finally I got the text that Sebastian had arrived and after they got some much needed rest I headed over to East Cooper to snag some peeks and snaps.

About a week later we had Sebastian at my home studio. I was LOVING his hair, I had so many bonnets and hats picked out and didn't use a single one because I just could bare to cover up that hair. Even Sierra said "I paid my dues in heartburn for all that hair!" He slept like a true champ and we accomplished 4 set ups total.

It was sad to see this baby bundle come to a close but we have already made plans to meet up at a Riverdogs game this summer! Sierra and Connor are buying their first house so once his nursery is all set up we're planning on an adorable in home session between 6-8 months,  and I can't wait to watch this little man grow!
